''Started playing bowls at the age of 29 for Tranent Bowling clubs rivals (and smaller stature club) ELCO-OP, best achievement whilst playing there was winning 2 leagues when the club joined the Esk ( Midlothian) league, I then had 2 years at Cockburnspath BC, But my bowling really started to flourish after joining TBC as the quality of bowler at TBC is a lot higher than any of the other clubs I have played for ;-) ''
